Glover Works collects the minimum it needs to respond to you and to run client work. This page says what that is in plain terms.
The enquiry form
When you send an enquiry we keep what you typed — your name, organization, contact details and your description of the problem — so we can respond to it and so we have a record of the conversation. We use it for that and nothing else. We do not sell it, share it with anyone outside Glover Works, or add you to a mailing list.
The client portal
If you are a client, the portal holds your projects, documents, proposals and invoices. Access is restricted to people at your own organization who have been given an account. Files are stored outside the public web root and every download is access-checked.
Payments
Online payments are handled by Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's own page and never reach Glover Works systems. We store a reference to the transaction, the amount and the date, not the card.
What this site does not do
No advertising trackers, no third-party analytics scripts, no social media pixels. Fonts are served from this site rather than a font network, so loading a page does not tell anyone else that you did.
Cookies
A session cookie when you are signed in, and a preference cookie if you have one set. That is all.
Automated access
Some of this data is read by software we run ourselves. An internal system holds a key that lets it read enquiries, client records and project records, and draft things for a person to review; it cannot issue an invoice or release anything to a client. It runs on hardware we control and the data does not leave it. This is still Glover Works reading your enquiry, not a third party, and it is said here because "who sees this" is a fair question and the honest answer includes software.
How long we keep things
An enquiry is kept until you ask us to delete it. We do not delete enquiries on a schedule, because a conversation that went nowhere in March is often the context for one that starts in November. If you would rather we did not keep yours, say so and we will remove it.
Records of who did what inside the platform are kept for seven years and then deleted automatically. Client records attached to invoices and contracts are kept for as long as the law requires.
Asking us about your data
Write to us and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it where we are not required to keep it. Client records attached to invoices and contracts carry retention obligations we cannot waive.
