What we actually do
Most consulting stops at the recommendation. A report arrives, everyone agrees with it, and eighteen months later the organization is in the same position with a more expensive filing cabinet.
We work the other way round. Understanding the problem properly is the first part of the job, not the whole of it. The work is finished when something is running: the curriculum is being taught, the SOPs are being followed, the safety program is documented and the people who own it know how it works.
Why four disciplines
Business operations, education, safety and technology look like four different businesses. They are not. Every one of them is the same problem: a system that stopped matching reality, and no one with the time or the distance to fix it properly.
An organization that needs its training rebuilt usually needs its processes documented first. A safety program is a training problem and a records problem before it is a technical one. A knowledge system is worthless if nobody has decided what is supposed to be in it. Working across all four is not a claim to do everything — it is what the work actually requires.
How we are set up
Glover Works is built to bring in the right specialist for the work rather than to make every problem fit one person's expertise. Engagements are staffed with the consultants, instructors and technical specialists a particular piece of work needs, which is why the range above is honest rather than aspirational.
Who we work with
Associations and nonprofits, training organizations, manufacturers, research facilities, professional bodies and companies large enough to have systems and small enough that nobody has time to fix them.
The name
Glover Works LLC. Works is the part that matters — both senses of it.
